  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

    If you are 16 and want to donate, please click the link below to download the parental consent form.  You will need this form and your ID when you check in!

  • Must be at least 110 pounds

  • Must be in good health on the day of the drive

  • Must have no history of exposure to Hepatitis or AIDS

  • Last blood donation must have been at least 56 days prior (8 weeks)

  • Certain medications, health problems or conditions may disqualify you from donating blood.

  • Pregnant women, people with angina or a fever are not eligible. 

  • Travel to destinations outside of the U.S. will affects your eligibility.  See the link provided below for more information about specific travel destinations, the length of stay and time you have been back on U.S. soil.

FREE registration for those interested in joining the National Marrow Donor Program will be held in conjunction with this blood drive!

 If you’re 18-60 years old, marrow testing is done by taking a cheek swab!

Did you know? 

 

According to the American Red Cross, 100 donors break down as such:

38 O positive                          7 O negative

34 A positive                          6 A negative

9 B positive                            2 B negative

3 AB positive                         1 AB negative

 

 

Are you Type O?

Type O donors are universal donors for red cells.  Type O can be transfused to other people who have a different blood type.

 

Are you Type A?

Type A is best used for platelet donations.

 

Are you Type B?

Type B donors are needed for whole blood donations. 

 

Are you Type AB?
