Don’t forget!
You will need to present your photo ID and blood donor card (if you have one) when you arrive!
If you are a regular blood donor, you must be sure it has been at least 56 days (8 weeks) since your last blood donation.
To be eligible you must…
- Be 16-years old or older to donate blood
- If you are 16 and want to donate, please click here to view "A Student’s Guide to Blood Donation" and to download the parental consent form. You will need this form and your ID when you check in
- Be at least 110 pounds
- Be in good health on the day of the drive
- Have no history of exposure to Hepatitis or AIDS
- Be prepared to verbally communicate the current medications you take, if any

You may not be eligible because of…
- Certain medications, health problems or conditions may disqualify you from donating blood
- You are pregnant, have angina or a fever
- Have recently traveled to destinations outside of the U.S. Please please click here for more information about specific travel destinations, the length of stay and time you have been back on U.S. soil.

A note about double-red cell donation
Double-red cell donation has different eligibility criteria, as listed below:
- Male – Healthy, 17-years of age or more, at least 5’1” and at least 130 pounds (some circumstances require a higher weight)
- Female – Healthy, 17-years of age or more, at least 5’5” and at least 150 pounds (some circumstances require a higher weight)
- You may make a double-red donation every 112 days, up to three times a year.
